Ryan Scott

Associate Professor

Ryan Scott

Ryan’s research interests include environmental policy, with a focus on the management of emerging technology risks. Broadly speaking, he is interested in how knowledge is transfered into environmental decisions. His dissertation work is centered on use of deliberation in management of oil and gas development risks. Another body of work looks to explore how analysis such as Life Cycle Assessment, Benefit Cost Analysis, and Decision Analysis contribute to policymaking.
