Kelly Husted’s dissertation research focused on the influence of large philanthropic foundations on public policy. Other research streams include participatory grantmaking strategies among large foundations and accountability mechanisms within collaborative governance partnerships. She holds an MPA from the University of San Francisco and a BA from Stanford University in Political Science and Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity.
