Rebecca Walcott

Rebecca Walcott started the Evans School Ph.D. program in Public Policy and Management in 2018. Rebecca’s research interests are in the fields of health policy, international development, and humanitarian policy. Prior to beginning the program, she was employed as a Research Professional in the Economic Evaluation Research Group at the University of Georgia’s College of Public Health. She holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Georgia, along with certificates in Disaster Management and Global Health. She earned her bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from the University of Georgia and also has professional experience as a data manager, operations manager, and grant writer in the nonprofit sector.
