Katie joined the Evans School Ph.D. program in Autumn 2025. Her research interests lie broadly in social policy, with a particular focus on economic security and racial and gender equity. Before joining the doctoral program, Katie worked as a Research Assistant at the Economic Policy Institute in Washington, D.C., where she contributed to projects that examined the labor market and wages, family budgets and childcare, and education.
