I am a first-generation Latina college student at the University of Washington, and I am currently a Psychology major with an interest in Public Policy. I am a strong advocate for women’s, children’s, and immigrants’ rights, and have either worked or volunteered in similar areas. I enjoy meeting new people and exploring new areas that make long-lasting memories.[/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=”What is your dream job? What kind of impact do you hope to make?” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_column_text css=””]As of right now, maybe something where there is policy & program development for a department/sector I am passionate about, or perhaps as a researcher evaluating programs’ effectiveness. I want whichever career I take to be one where programs have a positive effect on the communities it is intended to reach. I think that would be the dream job, where I can see my efforts paying off.[/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=”Who is your favorite public servant and why?” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_column_text css=””]Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, I admire her diligence and confidence for going after what she not letting others intimidate her.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
