Shalini Jain

Shalini Jain graduated from the Evans School Ph.D. in Public Policy and Management Program in 2013. Her research interests include emergence, evolution, and efficacy of transnational private regulation institutions; multi-stakeholder global governance, and corporate social responsibility.
Prior to starting her doctoral studies at the Evans School, Jain held positions as director of the Senior Corps Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) Bloomington, Indiana, and as senior research associate with Center for Governmental Research (CGR) in Rochester, New York, where she provided public sector consulting services in government management, human services analysis, social research, and economic analysis to nonprofit organizations, city, county, and state governments of New York. She also interned at the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland.
Jain holds an MS in Public Policy and Management from the University of Washington, an MS in Public Policy Analysis from University of Rochester, and a BA in World History from University of Delhi, India.
